In the beginning of the school year, the Embassy of Ukraine in Moldova handed over the Books for Preschoolers to the Chisinau Lyceum named after M. Kotsiubinsky, which was financed by the Cifers family foundation. This Lyceum was chosen because the Ukrainian language is studied there.
The Books for Preschoolers are printed by the Kyiv publishing house "Samit-Knyga". Books are intended for children aged 5-6 who were forced to leave Ukraine to escape the war. The Cifers foundation supported the project for Ukrainian children to learn their native language even in a foreign country. The books are distributed in various European countries, especially Poland.
"Thank you all for your cooperation! Ukrainian children in Moldova wand to remember their native language!" – wrote Svitlana Melnychuk, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, on her Facebook page.
