US Based Nonprofit Empowers Ukrainian Children
A US based nonprofit, The Cifers Foundation, is offering Ukrainian youth an opportunity to join a fundraising effort to support the Ukrainian effort. The “My Ukraine” program encourages Ukrainian youth to express themselves through various works of art that will be auctioned to the general public. 100% of the proceeds are used to support Ukrainian fighters and refugees through the procurement and distribution of protective gear, medical kits, warm clothing, and other basic and underserved needs.
To participate, the children donate drawings on the theme "My Ukraine", using paints or pencils. They include the name and age of the author, their city of residence before the war, and the date the art was created. The Cifers Foundation, in cooperation with the Longwood Center for Visual Arts in Farmville, VA, will exhibit the art and organize the auctioning of the works to the general public.
Works of art are being collected until April 30 this year, and can be sent to the following address in the USA:
100 Industrial Park Rd
Farmville, VA 23901.
The Cifers Foundation is a non-profit founded by Anastasiia and Luther Cifers, and has a mission of providing hope to those in need. The founding issue of the foundation is to support the Ukrainian effort by providing both supplies and services to the fighters, their families, and Ukrainian refugees in general.
