On June 28, on the Day of the Constitution of Ukraine, more than a thousand Ukrainians and foreigners in different parts of the world united in the performance of the song " Oh, there's a red viburnum in the meadow" - the famous song of the Ukrainian Sich riflemen, which has now become a real anthem of Ukraine's struggle against the Russian invaders for its freedom and independence. The central location of the event was the city of Lviv. Live broadcasts were carried out in 47 countries from 60 locations.

In Poland the song was sung in three cities: Warsaw, Wroclaw and Krakow. The participants of the presentation of the educational manual Book for Preschoolers, published for Ukrainian children abroad within the financial support of the Cifers Foundation, joined in setting a song record in Warsaw. The event took place in the Warsaw Public Library, where adults and children, mostly refugees from Ukraine, gathered.

The goal of setting the record was to raise funds for the "1000 Freedom Cars" project and draw attention to Ukraine of the world. "Oh, there's a red viburnum in the meadow" is not just a popular Ukrainian musical piece. Today it is the most famous song in the world, associated with the will, invincible spirit and great patriotism of the Ukrainian people, who are heroically resisting the Russian invaders. "Red viburnum" is sung by soldiers on the front lines and children in courtyards, artists at concerts and believers in churches. Even Pink Floyd released a cover with Andrii Khlyvniuk's vocals. The world supports Ukraine in various ways. And by participating in the setting of this song record, we demonstrate not only our support for Ukraine, but also show that we are united in our love for it, in our desire for a peaceful sky over the Ukrainian land, and in our desire to win over the enemy. And looking at the enthusiasm with which little Ukrainians sing this song, the belief that Ukraine will overcome any enemy and everything will be fine increases a hundredfold," shared her impressions of participating in the event, co-founder of the foundation Anastasia Cifers.

The initiator of setting the song record was the International Headquarters for Aid to Ukrainians, and the organizer was the Lviv Regional Military Administration with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Children from Ukraine, who fled the war with their relatives and found temporary shelter in Poland, received an Educational Book for Preschoolers in Ukrainian language as a gift from the Cifers Foundation and publishing house “Sammit-Book”. The presentation of the publication took place in Krakow on the eve of the Constitution Day of Ukraine on 22nd of June 2022.

The two-volume Book for Preschoolers" is recommended by the Institute for Modernization of Education Content of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as a teaching aid for education of 5-6 year old children within the "New Ukrainian School" framework. The manual contains various interesting tasks for children, which help to prepare the child for school: they develop logic, spoken language, imagination, memory and thinking of preschoolers, as well as teach them writing and mathematics. The book was published specifically for distribution on the territory of European countries where refugees from Ukraine are temporarily staying.

"We supported this project for Ukrainian children to get their first education in the Ukrainian language. That is, with the help of their mothers or older relatives, they could learn letters and numbers, develop speech, read Ukrainian poems and calculators, learn to think logically, paint and develop. In fact, when I first got acquainted with the manuscript of this book, I looked through all its chapters with great pleasure. I think that this is a very necessary book for Ukrainian children abroad. The books flew out instantly, there is a hunger for Ukrainian books here in Poland," said Anastasia Cifers, co-founder of Cifers Foundation, who was presenting the Book personally.

The Book was prepared by a team of authors of the Kyiv publishing house "Summit-Book": Olena Zavitaylo, Andriy Bodeychuk, Olena Khomchenko, Yuliya Berezhko-Kaminska, Svitlana Cherednychenko. The first print run of the book is more than 2,000 copies. Another edition will be printed soon according to demand.

Employees from four different organizations, The Fay Group, QBE LLC, My Medic, and The Cifers Foundation have teamed up to purchase and deliver medical trauma kits to help the people of Ukraine. Each kit includes lifesaving medical supplies to those injured during the ongoing Russian invasion of that country. The kits were delivered directly to personnel in the field, and depending on the severity of injuries, a single kit can support two to three people. This effort has provided kits for close to 500 people, with more support to come.

What is going on in Ukraine right now is a humanitarian tragedy," said Ed Fay, CEO of The Fay Group, which donated funds to support this effort. Kits were assembled by My Medic in Utah, shipped to Poland, and then transported by land across the border to Ukraine. Assembling and shipping the kits took about two weeks from start to finish. Each kit normally costs $230, but My Medic lowered the cost to $175 in order to increase the total number of kits that are sent. According to Tyson Farr, Vice President of Sales at My Medic, "These kits are a tremendous way to deliver badly needed medical supplies, so we are pleased to be able to step up and partner on this project."
